BEAM released his debut EP, 95 in 2019, nearly 7 years after winning his first Grammy at the age of 17. Raised in Miami, Florida via Kingston, Jamaica, BEAM is the son of the legendary reggae artist, Papa San. BEAM won his Grammy for his production credits on Lecrae's album, Gravity which won Best Gospel Album in 2013. In addition to Lecrae, BEAM would continue to produce for other artists like Yo Gotti on “No Mo” and 21 Savage on “ball w/o you” and “good day.” His name is an acronym for “Be Everything And More.”

On 95, BEAM's unique flow shines on tracks like “95” and “Unda Armor.” The album is co-executive produced by Beam himself and Cardo, known for his work with artists like Kendrick Lamar and Baby Keem. BEAM gets assistance from Childish Major on the track, “Stranded” and gets a beat from CHASETHEMONEY on “Soldier.”

In 2020, BEAM returned with a feature for Childish Major on “Dem Know.” He later released an EP, Crimson Soundtrack in October of 2020, highlighted by “PSYCHO” and “SOMEBODY” featuring Vory. The same month, he landed noteworthy features on CHASETHEMONEY’s project, SLIM E & FRIENDS on the song, “Planet Plethora,” and Major Lazer’s project, Music is the Weapon, on the songs, “Tiny,” also featuring Shenseea, and “Bam Bam,” also featuring French Montana. To end 2020, BEAM once again teamed up with Vory, on Vory’s song, “York Way” in December.

In 2021, BEAM landed 2 huge features. First, on Justin Bieber’s album, Justice, BEAM featured on the song, “Love You Different.” The song is rumored to be Justin’s favorite from the album. Later in the year, BEAM featured on Pop Smoke’s posthumous album, Faith, on the song, “Top Shotta,” produced by The Neptunes and also featuring Pusha T and TRAVI.
