Tiing aka Greg Bandy II is an emcee, writer, and producer from the Bronx in New York City. Tiing’s father is Grammy-nominated drummer, Greg Bandy, and Tiing grew up playing the violin, even playing a show at Carnegie Hall at age 12. He has worked closely with Ivan Jackson of Brasstracks, a production duo, known for their horns, who have worked with artists like Chance the Rapper, The Underachievers, Mac Miller, Common, and Masego. Tiing is also close friends with T-Shyne, a member of Young Thug’s YSL collective. The pair currently have 3 songs together, with more on the way.
In 2019, Tiing released his first album, In Tune. The project is highlighted by “Diamonds and Coal,” “Brown Paper Bag,” and “Corners” featuring T. Alleyne. In 2021, he released the more experimental, Luciid : Deluxe, adding an additional 6 tracks to his 2 previously released Luciid EPs.
