4ever lost
4ever lost is a French music group blurring the lines of Pop and alternative R&B to make music in a genre they refer to as “Eclectic Pop.” As it states on the group’s website, “Through their songs, they wish to convey the messages of those who no longer have the voice or the power to put their feelings into words. One can thus discover the meticulousness, the passion of the detail, the elegance and the symbolism in the clips & cinematographic videos that accompany their music. 4ever lost can be everyone.”
Along with their manager, Freek, 4ever lost is compromised of four members:
Six - founder and lead singer
Hero - guitar and back vocals
Oni - synth, bass, piano, and back vocals
Abi - drums and back vocals
All four members have individually been musicians since they were children, but didn’t come together as a group until 2020 when Six had a vision for which he gathered his friends and formed 4ever lost. They worked on crafting their sound and style for two years before releasing their first song in 2022, “I Don’t Know How To Love You.” Today, the group lists their biggest influences as Omar Apollo, Steve Lacy, Clairo, Paris Texas, and Billie Eilish.
After releasing a few more singles, including “I’m Ok.”, 4ever lost released their debut EP, Dyeing in March 2023. The four-track effort is highlighted by the record, “Why’d You Do It.” Since the project, 4ever lost has released a handful of singles, including two more in 2023 and two more in the first half of 2024, most notably, “Catastrophee” released in March 2024.
