Xavier Top Floor is a rapper residing in Los Angeles, CA. Growing up in a Nigerian household with 5 older siblings, Xavier was exposed to a plethora of music from a young age. By the age of 7, he could rap “Hit ‘Em Up” by 2pac verbatim. At the age of 12, Xavier Top Floor began writing music. When asked to name a few of his biggest influences, Xavier had a unique response, saying, “Life is my biggest influence. [And] fear of going back to my hometown where everyone [is] dead or locked up.” When asked about his sound, he said, “Global sound, rooted from the West but they can’t box me in. Bars are my bread and butter.”
In 2019, Xavier Top Floor released his first full-length project, Hackers. Xavier starts off strong and shows his potential on the opening track, “Bitcoins.” Xavier returned in 2021 with Hackers 2 and has since released a number of singles and 1-3 track packs. Other must-listen tracks include “The Credits” and “Foreign Figures.” The latter gained traction after Ebro played it on his Apple Music show in April 2023, shortly after its release. After dropping a few singles and freestyles in the second half of 2023 and the early portion of 2024, Xavier released the 5-track, Hackers 3 - EP in May 2024. The project starts with a bang, coming in hot on the track, “Team Up.” We’ll be keeping this track on repeat as we await the next release from Xavier Top Floor.
