Peachcurls is a multi-instrumentalist from Cleveland, OH. His influences range from OutKast, Missy Elliott, and Timbaland to Erykah Badu, Melanie Faye, and D’Angelo to Prince, Jimi Hendrix, and Sly Stone to his very own parents. Having diverse influences and a diverse skill set, Peachcurls says that he is more interested in expressing himself in a way that is on par with the people he admires and a way that he feels truly represents what he wants to convey rather than being known for a specific sound.

Peachcurls released his first project, Missing Piece in 2017, highlighted by the upbeat, “Anthem.” He returned in 2018 with 2 projects - Kill The Messenger: The Bronx Tapes and Get Friendly. From these projects, be sure to check out “Breeze” and “City” featuring Jessica Yafanaro. Keeping up with the pace of at least one project per year, Peachcurls released EASTSIDE in 2019, and Meadow in 2020. Favorites from these projects include “Thursday Off,” “See About Me,” and “Born Without You.”

While at home during the pandemic, Peachcurls watched his sister Lauren, a visual artist, fill up her sketchbook, experimenting with different styles and being vulnerable. This inspired his series called Sketchbook, which he began in May 2021, releasing one song per month. This series will continue on October 15 with the song, “Incomplete.” Peachcurls also recently began selling merchandise, which he designed on his own and sells on his website. He credits Sophia Harrington with the drawings for the merch, his mother, Crystal with the embroidering, and Cleveland Print Co. with the printing.

On a final note, Peachcurls wanted to include a special message: “Just wanna shout out my team! Y’all know who y’all are. And if you don’t, then you will once you see whether or not I bought you an Escalade.”
