MachGang is a rapper from Chandler, Arizona via Zimbabwe. His biggest influence up to this point is Playboi Carti who inspired his alter ego, BabyMach. When he’s not BabyMach, MachGang makes music fitting with contemporary trap sounds, inspired by other artists like Meek Mill, Lil Mosey, NLE Choppa, and YoungBoy Never Broke Again. MachGang says he began rapping around 2019 at the age of 19. At the time, he was living with a sound engineer who has worked with Post Malone in the past. This gave him the confidence he needed, knowing he could make high-quality music, rather than something that sounded like it was recorded in a bedroom. With help from the engineer, he recorded his first single, “Get Out” in 2019 which has amassed over 400K streams as of 2022.
While MachGang has yet to release his debut project, he has released a number of singles. Standouts include 2021’s “Simp” and 2022’s “Never Woke,” with the latter reaching over 100K streams in the first three months after its release.
