Staten Island rapper, Lou From Paradise fka Lou The Human aka Paradise Madman aka Hugh Rackman is the type of rapper that you never know what you’re going to get. He has dabbled in production, producing for the likes of Beast Coast rap duo, The Underachievers on the 2013 song, “Revelations.” In 2017, the MC tore a few pages out of the books of Eminem and Mac Miller to write his own persona on his debut project, Humaniac. The album is full of unfiltered and irreverent lyrics, with Lou rapping about topics such as masturbation and joking about doing terrible deeds. Throughout the project, he uses a high pitched, distorted voice that reminds listeners of the the alter ego of the late Mac Miller, Delusional Thomas. The project is highlighted by the tracks “Lou’s Dead,” “Brink,” and “Born.”

In 2019, Lou From Paradise would open up for J.I.D on his Catch Me If You Can Tour along with Reason and Hardo.. Following the tour, Lou would release the long awaited Painkiller Paradise, a very different sounding project than his debut. The project reaches its height on tracks 7-9 with “Nirvana in the Whip,” “Cameras,” and “Make You Sick.” In August 2020, Lou released “Dr. Evil” produced by fellow Staten Island legend, RZA.
