DijahSB aka Khadijah Payne may be the most exciting up-and-coming rapper coming out of Toronto, Canada. DijahSB has been rapping since 2011, starting under the alias Kzaraw, with the rap group, Class of 93. DijahSB lists some of their favorite artists as Frank Ocean and Kaytranada. In 2018, DijahSB gained attention when Jay Electronica brought them on stage to rap during one of his shows in Canada. In 2020, DijahSB released their project, 2020 the Album. The project saw heights on “Mama Said (Alternate version)” and “Frontin’ Like Pharrell.”
In 2021, DijahSB received praise from Kid Cudi on Twitter for their video of them rapping with a mask on. DijahSB appeared on NiLL’s February track, “Control,” on which they shined bright. In April of 2021, DijahSB released the project, Head Above the Waters. DijahSB displays some of their influences on the project, with clear nods to artists like Kanye West and Lupe Fiasco.
