Dave Coresh
Dave Coresh is a genre-blurring artist that was born in DC, grew up in Chicago, and now resides in LA. In each place Dave lived, he was influenced by different sounds and artists that he was introduced to during his time in that city. In DC, he listened to go-go music. In Chicago, started battle rapping, and eventually would be put on the same concert bills as artists like J. Cole, Mac Miller, Wiz Khalifa, and Vic Mensa. In 2013, Dave moved out to LA and started starring in music videos for artists such as Smino, Ari Lennox, and reggie. He also started assembling teams, establishing 12FortyFive collective in 2013 and later, the NOFUN! collective in 2021. Today, his music blends elements of punk, rap, EDM, and rock and roll, and lists his biggest influences as Lil Wayne, Jean Dawson, Teezo Touchdown, and M.A.G.S.
In 2022, Dave Coresh released his debut EP, Smokenmirrors. The project is highlighted by the tracks, “Idgnf” and “Dumbluck.” Other standout tracks from Dave include “Bad Boy” with ALL HARD FEELINGS, “Sunday” with Mother Wata, and “Boysdontcry” with Louie Lambo. Dave Coresh’s music has caught the attention of outlets Lyricial Lemonade, Swidlife, Daily Chiefers, Earmilk, That Good Shit, and more.
