Alina Baraz
Cleveland singer, Alina Baraz released her first official project in 2015 with Urbana Flora, teamed with Denmark producer, Galamatias. The project came 2 years after she released the lead single, “Roses Dipped in Gold.” Following the release of the EP, she then decided to take 3 years before releasing her next project, shifting her sound from electronic to more R&B. In 2018, she released The Color of You via Mom+Pop. The project's high points include “I Don't Even Know Why Though” and the closing track and lead single, “Electric” featuring Khalid.
At age 26, Baraz returned in 2020 with her debut album, It Was Divine. The 16-track album includes features from 6lack, Smino, Khalid, and Nas, with key tracks including “Morocco,” “To Me,” and “Be Good.”
